At present, LATP clients are in training for the apprenticeship-type occupations, such areas those applicable to the construction trades. Examples of the LATP funded training include; business administration; along with community based training in the innu communities of Sheshatshiu and Natuashish. This includes carpentry, firefighting and heavy equipment operators, with security to start in the near future.
